BS Nursing Admissions Eligibility Criteria

Admissions are open in above mentioned 44 colleges of Punjab in 2024 for BSN Generic. The eligibility criteria for BS Nursing is given below.

• Applicant must have matric with science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
• FSc Pre-Medical with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Applicant must have a KPK Domicile.
• Both Male and Female applicants are eligible.
• The age limit for BS Nursing (BSN) is 35 years.

Guidelines for Admission

1. F.SC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification with at least 50% Marks (Physi Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects).
2. KMU (CAT) Test is compulsory. Students failing to appear in the KMU (CAT) Test for session 2024 are not eligible for admission.
3. The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years on the closing date of admission submission.
4. Candidates having domicile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and newly merged districts are eligible only.
5. Admission will be on an open merit basis with a female-to-male ratio of 9:1, which will also be maintained in each Nursing College.

7. Candidates shall deposit Rs. 500/- as a processing fee in any National Bank of Pakistan Aitemaad Branch on account of DG Provincial Health Services Academy Account No. Official Mentioned on advertisment.
8. All candidates and their parents/guardians are directed to read the prospectus carefully for all the details, terms and conditions. PHSA will not be responsible for any omissions.
9. Responsibility will lie with the candidate himself/herself. The decision of the central selection committee will be considered as final.
10. The admission will be on a provisional basis, subject to verification of original documents from the concerned board/office by the respective College of Nursing.
11. Any candidate found to have submitted tempered or fake documents during or after The interview will stand ineligible and shall be liable for legal action
12. The last date for submission of the online admission form is 04/11/2024 at 5:00 P.M. No application will be entertained after the closing date whatsoever.
13. A list of all Applicants (General List) will be displayed on 08/11/2024 on PHSA’s official website (www.phsa.edu.pk). For any correction(s) in the already submitted online admission form, the written application can be given in the PHSA office OR through email at [email protected] from the same email address from which the admission form was uploaded. Correction(s) requested from any other email address shall not be entertained. Last date for correction(s) is 14/11/2024 5:00 P.M
14. Separate lists of Shortlisted Candidates (male and female) will be displayed on 20/11/2024 on PHSA official website (www.phsa.edu.pk), along with the interview schedule.
15. Only shortlisted candidates will appear in the interview at the PHSA office, Budhni Road Duranpur, near Motorway northern bypass, Peshawar
16. The physical presence of the candidate is mandatory at the time of the interview. Any candidate failing to appear in the interview on the scheduled date and time for any reason whatsoever, will lose the right for admission and the interview shall not be rescheduled.
17. All the original documents including KMU-CAT results in hard form along with a recent passport-size photograph and a set of attested photocopies of all relevant documents as mentioned in the prospectus must be provided at the time of the interview.
18. All Hafiz-e-Quran should bring a Hitz-e-Quran certificate from a registered Deeni Madrasa and will have to pass the Hifz-e-Quran test at the time of the interview. Only those candidates who pass the Hifz-e-Quran test will be awarded 20 Marks (marks will be added in FSc obtained marks). If the test is not passed during the interview, the Hifz-e-Quran marks will be deducted.
19. No separate call letter/message will be issued/communicated to the shortlisted candidates and they are directed to visit PHSA Official Website (www.phsa.edu.pk), frequently.
