Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) announced registrations for the HAT Test 2025 conducted by the Education Testing Council (ETC). HAT test is just an Aptitude Test conducted by HEC for various purposes. Registrations are open for HEC HAT 2025

HEC anounced HAT admission test registrations. The details of HAT test 2025 are given bwlow.
HEC HAT test is for various purposes and following students should apply.
- Those who are interested in seeking admission in MS/MPhil and PhD programs in public and private Pakistani universities that accept HAT test. HAT is just like NTS GAT test. Before applying check whether the university accepts HAT or not.
- Those who have already applied for MS/MPhil and PhD admission OR HEC scholarships via E-portal in response to universities.
- Those who intend to apply in future for the HEC scholarships including HEC sponsored scholarships in Pakistani Universities.
HAT Test category
There are five category for HAT test and marks distrubition of each category are given below. Students should apply for relevant category.

What are the passing marks in the HEC HAT Test?
THE HEC HAT test consists of a total of 100 marks. To pass the HAT Test conducted by HEC for the various program students must have at least 50 marks. The passing marks of the HEC HAT test are 50 marks.

How to apply for HEC HAT Test 2025?
etc.hec.gov.pk HAT Test 2025 registrations are open. Interested students can apply online on the HEC website. The basic process for HEC LAT Test registration is given below.
- Visit etc.hec.govt.pk for online application.
- Complete your profile on the online portal after creating of account.
- From the application, menu select the HAT Test.
- Deposit the LAT Test application fee of in a given account through 1bill.
