Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BS, MPhil and PhD admissions at the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences PIEAS are given below.

• The BS applicant must have at least 60% marks in SSC and HSSC. Pre Engineering is mandatory for BS Engineering programs. Admissions will be made with a merit formula of 60% PIEAS admission test, 15% Matric, and 25% FSc or FSc part 1.
• The MPhil applicant must have 16 years of education with at least a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0.
• Ph.D. applicants must have at least 18 years of education with a CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0. Applicant must have Subject GRE or Subject GAT or appear in PIEAS admission. PhD candidates can apply anytime after the qualification of the test.
