Scholarship of MBBS by Cuba Government for Pakistani Students

Cuba’s Government announced a scholarship for Pakistani Students to Pursue MBBS or Undergraduate degree in Medicine for 2023-24. Many pre-medical students want scholarships for MBBS to pursue studies abroad. The Cuban Government announced one scholarship for Pakistani Students to Pursue MBBS. The details are given below.  

The last date of application is August 31, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must have at least 70% marks in FSc or A level Pre-Medical and at least 60% in O level or matric.
• Must be Pakistani/AJK national and between 18-25 years old.
• Results awaiting candidates or not eligible.

Selection Criteria

Cuba Government MBBS Scholarship selection criteria are

• Matric: 50% marks
• FSc: 50% marks

Funding

Cuba Government Scholarship for MBBS funding details is given below.

1. Full Tuition Fee Exemption
2. Hostel and accommodation
3. Food according to Cuba Rules
4. Stipend 100 Cuban Pesos/month

An amount of Rs. 300,000/- will be provided once to students after their departure to Cuba. The student will bear expenses like visa fees, air ticket medical insurance, buying halal food, etc.

HEC is accepting online applications for the Government of Cuba MMBS Scholarship. You can apply online at https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk/#/auth/login After creating accounting and completing your profile, select Learning Opportunities abroad and submit your application. Also, print your application and sign a copy of the application.

 List of Required Documents

The following documents are required for the Government of Cuba Scholarship for MBBS. These documents will be demanded from shortlisted candidates only.

1. Print of HEC application form
2. Matric and FSc Certificate/Degree with IBCC attestation.
3. Birth Certificate by NADRA
4. Father/Guardian CNIC
5. No Criminal Record Certificate (Police Character Certificate) Original
6. Valid passport
7. Medical Certificate with a report of HIV
