UET Lahore ECAT Entry Test Registrations 2024

University of Engineering and Technology UET Lahore announced registrations for ECAT 2024. The Combined Admission Test for Engineering programs is compulsory for admission in all government universities of Punjab for Engineering programs at the undergraduate level. ECAT is conducted by UET Lahore once a year. Registrations are open for ECAT 2024 Entry Test. The details of the ECAT application are given below.

When ECAT 2024 will be conducted by UET Lahore?

UET Lahore conducts a common entrance test for admission to Engineering and Engineering technology universities of Punjab. The test will be conducted in the second week of March this year.

What are the eligibility criteria for ECAT Registration?

Anyone can register and appear in the test. But appearing in the test doesn’t give the [right to apply for engineering programs. Applicant must also be eligible for the engineering program along with qualification of ECAT.

What is the test pattern for ECAT conducted by UET/ What are the Subject choices for ECAT?

The ECAT will be a test of the Intermediate level. Students can select any of the subject combinations given below based on their intermediate subjects.

• English, Math, Physic and Chemistry
• English, Math, Physics and Computer Science
• English, Math, Physics and Statistics
• English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology

What is the marks distribution in ECAT?

ECAT consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. There will be ten questions from English and 30 questions from each of the three other subjects.
