United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) recently announced the registrations for the undergraduate semester exchange program for Pakistan. The Global UGRAD 2023 exchange program is a fully funded exchange program offered each year to promote mutual understanding between the people of Pakistan and the people of the United States.
In this UGRAD exchange program, full-time undergraduate students can get a chance to visit the USA and join a university there for a semester. The credit hours of relevant courses taken during this exchange semester can be converted as per the university policies. Details of Global UGRAD for Pakistani Students are given below.

Benefits:
This Global UGRAD 2023 for Pakistani students covers the following costs:
- Tuition and other fees
- Housing and meals
- Monthly Maintenance Allowance and Books allowance
- Accident and sickness coverage
- Round-trip airfare
Eligibility Criteria:
Pakistani citizens who are younger than 25 years and currently enrolled in a university in Pakistan and are in their 14th or 15th year of formal education are eligible to apply for the UGRAD exchange program.
Students who are in their first or final year of university are not eligible for this program.
Applicants will have to submit their most recent and old transcripts with the application.
Dual nationality holders (the U.S and Pakistani nationality holders) are not eligible to apply also the employees of Fulbright Organization and USAID etc and their close family members are not eligible for this exchange program.
Women, disabled people, and residents of KPK, AJK, GB, Balochistan, Northern Sindh, and Southern Punjab are highly encouraged to apply.
How to apply for UGRAD?
Students will have to apply online on USEFP’s official website. Online applications will be accepted. Hard copies of applications will not be considered. All the required documents must be uploaded alongside the online application
